| All-new green model | 2008 British International Motor Show |
Ford has announced that a green version of its new Fiesta will be unveiled alongside its other models at the London Motor Show. The greener Fiesta will use Ford's 1.6-litre turbodiesel to allow it to offer a sub 120g/km CO2 rating and official combined economy of over 65mpg. It will join the ECOnetic range, Ford's cleaner, greener model line-up aimed at those wanting to minimise their environmental impact.
It's not all planet-hugging consciousness on Ford's stand though, as alongside the new Fiesta - and its greener spin-off - will be Ford's new high performance Focus RS model. The only thing obviously green about that car being its lurid paintwork...
