What the hell is this RSS malarky?
"RSS is a Web content syndication format. Its name is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a dialect of XML. All RSS files must conform to the XML 1.0 specification, as published on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) website.""

Well, that's the technical description anyway... What does it mean to you? It means that, without lifting that overused mouse finger of yours, you get to see the latest news or articles from various websites in one place. The latest articles from The Car Enthusiast for instance!

Sounds good. How do I do that then?
There are several ways. Our favourite RSS reader is built into the Mozilla Thunderbird email program, though of course we don't expect you to change your email program just to get RSS feeds. Here are a few others we've found (though we take no responsibility for how good they are!) and there are new programs popping up all the time:

- RSSReader
- SharpReader
- FeedReader

If you use a Mozilla-based browser, such as Firefox you should right now see a little orange RSS feed logo to the far right of the page address above. Click on that and you can add this page as a 'Live Bookmark', which you can click on and simply see the most recent headlines.

If you hold an account at Google, you can also add The Car Enthusiast headlines to your Google homepage, by simply going to Google's page with this link.

So, you've got your RSS reader, what next?
Simply drag or copy our RSS feed address (http://www.carenthusiast.co.uk/rss/index.rss) into your reader. Any problems? Send us a note.

They weren't lying when they named it, were they?
