Snippet: Ford SAV concept to hit showrooms in 2006 - 2006 Ford SAV
When Ford showed the SAV concept in Geneva earlier this year we were not really impressed. We have now learned that the concept will become a production reality. The SAV (its production name is likely to be revealed at the Frankfurt Show later this year) is aimed at being both practical and good to drive. Ford has sensibly decided to fit the production car with seven seats instead of the concept's five. We'll see if it can better Mitsubishi's efforts with the lacklustre Grandis.

Snippet: Le Mans GT1 race fell to the Corvette team - 2005 Chevrolet Corvette
The Corvette Racing team made history at the 2005 24 Hours of Le Mans, taking its fourth 1-2 finish in the GT1 class in five years with the new Corvette C6-based racecar. Oliver Gavin, Olivier Beretta and Jan Magnussen repeated their victory of last year's 24-hour endurance race, and were again joined on the podium by team-mates Ron Fellows, Johnny O'Connell and Max Papis.
